Every word Punk said about Johnny's wrestling career was 100% legit. Ace was a bland, awkward, charismaless waste of space who's two biggest claims to fame were being Animal's brother & servicing Mrs. Baba to keep his job in All Japan ( allegedly )
The WWE will never be able to recreate Austin/McMahon. It was a once in a lifetime blend of characters, talent & good booking, didn't work with Cena/Bischoff and it certainly won't work with a black hole of charisma like Johnny Ace no matter how good Punk is.

John Laurinaitas is a HELL of a guy.
He's allowed Creative, Triple H and CM Punk to basically open EVERY one of his veins and bleed out EVERY bit of crap that has happened to him since he first laced up a pair of boots. His lack of "charisma", the obvious jealousy and semi-resentment John has to deal with regarding his brother's success, EVERY bit of critisism the IWC has lumped on him for YEARS. Granted he STILL sucks on that mike and if it were ANY other "authority figure" this feud would be doing EXACTLY what the WWE hoped it would...be the new "Austin/McMahon" rivalry. God bless the guy, he is doing nearly NOTHING but GIVE to everyone he is in that ring with now. I cant stand the guy in there and cant WAIT for him to go away...but dammit the man just earned my respect.
